Keri Rusthoi is a member of the National Association for Teachers of Singing. She teaches voice privately in her own studio, and has served as voice faculty at the Colorado Mountain College-Alpine Campus, Perry-Mansfield School for the Performing Arts and with Arts for the Soul organization. Keri is the Founder and Artistic Director of Emerald City Opera as well as the treasurer of the Colorado Music Alliance. She co-founder of the first All-Colorado Opera Auditions in Spring of 2007, featuring 9 companies from throughout the state and auditioning 70 singers in its inaugural year.
Keri won rave reviews as a guest artist on the award-winning "New Age" recording The Lost World by Michael Sterns, released in 1991 and is a registered BMI recording artist. She will be making her first professional, classical recording in the Fall of 2007 with Pearl Delta Records of Hong Kong.
In past years Keri has served her community as the director of the Columbine Youth Chorale, as a violist in The Avalon String Quartet and as a violist in the Steamboat Springs Chamber Orchestra. She has also served as the Arts Representative on the Steamboat Springs Education Fund Board.
